Rhett grew up in Lehi, Utah, and worked on a large family ranch where he spent most of his days on a horse and tractor. Throughout his teen years, he never used skin products or sunscreen.
His journey into aesthetics came later on into his medical career. His interest peeked when he attended a continuing medical education course seminar that offered classes in aesthetics and weight loss. He was fascinated with all of it! He couldn’t stop thinking about how exciting the treatments and devices were, especially since he was getting older. He had no idea about all of the anti-aging options that showed real results that were available.
The more he researched, the more he felt he wanted to provide others with the same knowledge of medical aesthetics and medical weight loss. He has been in the field ever since. Outside of work, his hobbies include spending time with his wife and four kids, sports (Go Jazz!), Lake Powell, golf, and travel.
Jen Smith, RD, is the co-owner of the medical spa along with her husband, Dr. Rhett Smith. She has studied nutrition and dietetics for 30 years and has a passion for health and wellness.
She loves helping her patients achieve weight loss and gain back their health and quality of life.
Outside of work Jen and Dr. Smith have four children and one daughter in law. Jen loves spending time with family, running, reading, traveling and puzzles! She loves helping anyone who is struggling with weight loss and hormone imbalance and ready to gain control of their life and health!
Tina has a passion for, and loves working in all things business, cosmetic and medical.
She started her career in cosmetology and returned to school later for business. She is always up for a challenge and learning something new.
Tina is a devoted wife, and a mom to four boys. In her free time, Tina enjoys traveling, hiking, camping and spending time with her family.
Janica Schmuck is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and has a Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Frontier Nursing University in Lexington, Kentucky in 2019. Prior to that she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Brigham Young University, here in Provo, Utah in 2014.
From a very young age Janica has loved all things skin and has a passion for preventative and functional medicine. She likes to get to the root cause of symptoms and restore health and beauty. Janica firmly believes an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. You can often find her out and about on walks with her daughters and husband wearing an extra wide brimmed hat and Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 40 PA++++ Sunscreen.
Amy is the head aesthetic injector at Genesis Med Spa. She graduated magna cum laude with her bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University in 2000. Amy is also an ER nurse at Utah Valley Hospital.
Amy is a personal trainer (NASM) and group fitness instructor. She’s a fitness enthusiast, passionate about weight training, and loves all things health and wellness.
Amy’s favorite vacation spot of all time is Lake Powell. She loves surfing, waterskiing and water sports. She also loves snowskiing with her kids, listening to interesting podcasts, and designing charcuterie boards for loved ones.
